understand that it is my honest intention to provide a website
that is as fun and educational as possible. While every precaution
has been taken to assure the integity of this website, the
Internet is a big place, and just like thre real world, there
can be nasty things lurking around any corner.
Computer viruses, hackers, and others take measured time to
create pitfalls for others.
This site is full of links to other websites which are also
full of wonderful, educational content. But since I'm not
in control of them, any one of them could change their content
at any time. I cannot be responsible for the content on their
websites.
Additionally, although very unlikely, hackers seeking to cause
trouble can sometimes "break-in" to a website, and
change the content without the site manager's knowledge.
On my home page, I have a small warning for students and parents:
children should always be supervised when surfing the Internet!
It is a powerful and wonderful tool for education, but there
are areas of the Internet which are not suitable for children.
Additionally, most of the content I've included on this website
is original - meaning, I've designed the graphics and written
the words. I certainly don't wish to upset anyone by including
content on this site which someone else claims to own, or
is someone else's property. Anyway, if you find anything on
this site which you feel belongs to you, please e-mail
me.
